About
Simon is the appointed AFL Community Ambassador - engagement & development lead in the Victorian Northen regions.
This is a volunteering role.
He is an accredited AFL Coach level 1 Youth Coach & game development with a specialist interest in skill acquisition. Simon has coached his own teams at Port Melbourne Colts as well as at Redan Football club. An avid sportsman with a sporting background in Rugby union, Basketball, Squash and Golf, Simon brings a unique sporting acumen in skill acquisition and game sense.
Get Involved
Simoni is engaged with local footy clubs to ensure introductory programs and participation in footy for established and newly arrived Multicultural community families in the region.
Mission statement – Simon's mission is to ensure all Multicultural youth, and their families are exposed to the AFL game.
Opportunities & Game Development – Simon has a 3-year strategy endorsed by the AFL to develop a strong relationship with a host club, implement pre-season and in season programs for Multicultural young people and their families.
